Overview
Associate Attorney Jake Daniel Novelli, Esq. joined the Murphy Law Group in September 2021.
Prior to joining the Murphy Law Group, Mr. Novelli worked as a law clerk for the Honorable Richard S. Hoffman, J.A.D., of the New Jersey Superior Court, Appellate Division. As an appellate law clerk, Mr. Novelli handled cases involving all areas of the law, including employment disputes.
Mr. Novelli obtained his law degree from Rutgers Law School, graduating magna cum laude. While in law school, Mr. Novelli gained experience representing clients in court through his participation in the Children’s Justice Clinic, where he appeared on behalf of young people in juvenile court. Mr. Novelli was also an editor for the Rutgers University Law Review, a competitor in the Hunter Moot Court competition, and the student director for the Pennsylvania Innocence Project volunteer program. Additionally, Mr. Novelli served as a fellow and teaching assistant for the Marshall-Brennan Constitutional Literacy Project, where he taught constitutional law to high school students and coached a group for a moot court competition held in Washington, D.C.
Mr. Novelli’s law school experiences working with and on behalf of individuals informed and solidified his interest in pursuing employment litigation as a career.
Mr. Novelli was born and raised in South Jersey and currently lives in Philadelphia. He is licensed to practice law in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
