Overview
Prior to joining the Murphy Law Group, Mr. Hoffman was an Assistant Public Defender at the Miami-Dade Public Defender’s Office where he served as the first chair on several jury trials and secured favorable outcomes for his clients. He then transitioned to civil litigation and spent time at an insurance defense firm in Philadelphia.
Mr. Hoffman obtained his Juris Doctorate Degree from Brooklyn Law School in 2021, graduating magna cum laude. While in law school, Mr. Hoffman was the Managing Editor of the Journal of Law & Policy and was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society. He also interned for two federal judges in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
Prior to attending law school, Mr. Hoffman attended the University of Maryland, College Park where he earned bachelors degrees in both History and Secondary Education. He then spent several years teaching in the Washington, D.C. area.
Mr. Hoffman is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and Florida, as well as before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
